We’re All Stories in the End
Oh, how I wish these shoes were real. I would buy them, like immediately. And I’d wear them. And probably kill myself. (I’m not good with high heels.) But I’d look good while doing it.

TOMBOY
Directed by: Céline Sciamma
Starring: Zoé Héran, Malonn Lévana, Jeanne Disson
Rating: 5 out of 5 blowjobsOH THIS MOVIE. It was so exceptionally sweet and just the right amount of excruciating. It had me charmed to the extent that I don’t want to give it anything less than the full five out of five (though considering the contents of the film, I sort of want to replace blowjobs with lollipops, but eh, whatever). Zoé Héran did such a good job portraying Laure/Michaël, and I really felt for her throughout the movie; she was really quite a spectacular little actress! One of the best things about it for me, though, was the relationship between Laure and her little sister, Jeanne. I really just wanted to scoop them both up and cuddle them, they were so lovely together. And the film’s theme of gender and sexuality in the adolescent years was really well treated, I thought. Overall, I just enjoyed it very much, so if you like French cinema (in the words of pepperingpotts: it was a very French movie), I definitely recommend it.
It was a very french movie! And i loved it! :)
